The roll is made of strong cast iron for maximum rigidity. The roll length is 150 mm, which is significantly wider than most rolls and gives extra space for a large flat rolling area, as well as 11 wire grooves. Each roll is induction hardened with 64 RC. Maximum thickness for rolling sheet metal is 6 mm.

The 11 grooves of the square wire range from 8 mm to 1 mm.

Maintenance-free bearings are protected by a plastic cover and guards the rolls that are essential for a perfect finish. The roll also includes four semi-circular side extensions of 4, 3, 2 and 1,5mm. This roller also has a 5:1 ratio gearbox, ensuring smooth power at every turn.
