It has two drill holes so that it can be attached to your desk, and is designed to keep your fingertips extra secure while you work.
The ring’s treble holder has three notches to hold the treble and a support hole and cut-out to support the end of the treble. This provides a stable base to work in a flat position (through the hole) or in a raised position (using a field cut) to provide an angle at which the finger can be rotated and worked at any angle.
